Welcome HOWDY! He's a wonderful yellow lab that we are fostering for Furry
Kids Refuge. He is about 8 years old, neutered, knows basic obedience and just
needs you to love him! He is housebroke, and loves kids and does fine with
other dogs and cats. He was dumped at the Leavenworth shelter because his
owners could no longer care for him. He only had a matter of HOURS left
before he was to be euthanized! Howdy is skin and bones, but I know with
some veterinary care, worming ,and groceries he'll be back to his old self in no
time!!!

UPDATE: I do not have any current pictures of Howdy, but I
promise you would not even recognize him!!! The day I got
him from the shelter he weighed 65 pounds. 4 days later at
his first checkup he weighed 76 pounds. AMAZING what
some groceries will do for a dog! He has had some fat lumps
removed from his belly, and he's had his teeth cleaned. He
now has all of his shots, and he's at an excellent, healthy
weight! He is now available for adoption!!!

children that are going to love him and give him the
